Spicy Honey Butter Garlic Chicken Tenders

Ingredients :

• 1 lb chicken tenders
• 1 tablespoon olive oil (for cooking)
• 1 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1 teaspoon paprika
• ½ teaspoon chili powder
• ½ teaspoon black pepper
• ½ teaspoon salt
• 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour (optional, for a light crust)

For the Spicy Honey Garlic Butter Glaze:
• ¼ cup honey
• 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• ½–1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to your heat preference)
• Pinch of salt

Instructions :

1. Season the Chicken:
In a large bowl, toss the chicken tenders with garlic powder, paprika, chili powder, black pepper, salt, and flour (if using). The flour gives them a crisp, golden crust, but it’s optional.
2. Sear the Chicken:
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the seasoned chicken tenders and cook for 3–4 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F / 74°C).
Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside on a plate.
3. Make the Spicy Honey Garlic Glaze:
Lower the heat to medium. In the same skillet, melt the butter and add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds, just until fragrant.
Stir in the honey, red pepper flakes, and a pinch of salt. Let the sauce bubble for 1–2 minutes until it thickens slightly.
4. Coat the Chicken:
Return the cooked chicken tenders to the pan, tossing them in the hot glaze until well coated.
Spoon extra glaze over the top and let the tenders rest off the heat for another 1–2 minutes to soak in the flavor.
5. Serve:
Serve the chicken tenders warm with extra sauce drizzled over the top. They’re fantastic with rice, roasted veggies, or just on their own!
